Home Course - Maiden Castle
Named after the largest Iron Age hill fort in Europe. Situated just 2 miles south of Dorchester it covers an area of 47 acres. 'Maiden' derives from the Celtic 'Mai Dun' which means 'great hill'.
A blind but straighforward tee shot. The approach is a feature of the course. Played from above to a green sunken into a sideslope below. A great approach and a buzz when you knock it stiff.
