Lessons

Lessons are available with Nick Rodgers (Head Professional) and his PGA Assistant Wes Caines who can help with all aspects of the golf game from curing a slice to helping with missed putts.

The club has extensive practice facilities which include a full-length practice ground suitable for hitting drivers, two chipping greens, a putting green and practice nets.

Both our professionals are also able to teach at the Wessex driving range (in Weymouth). A helpful option, especially during the winter months.

Professional’s Shop

The pro shop is run by the club’s Head Professional, Nick Rodgers, and his team. Nick has been a member of the PGA (Professional Golfers’ Association) for 30 years and has built up a wealth of experience in all aspects of golfing life which he happily shares with both members and visitors.

It is located next to the main clubhouse and the easy parking makes it an ideal place to visit for your golfing needs. The shop is well stocked with a full range of golfing equipment from all the major brands and Nick and his friendly team are always on hand to offer help and advice. There is a selection of demo clubs for members/visitors to trial out on the course and a full club repair service is available including re-shafting, re-gripping and re-studding. The pro shop is open to non-members.

Our ‘price match promise’ means we will compete on price with online golf retailers, high street golf retailers and UK based professional shops.

We are part of FOREMOST GOLF, the UK’s largest golf retail buying group. We have a fleet of push trolleys for hire (£5) and four electric trolleys (£10) which can be pre-booked ahead of your visit.

If you’re looking for a birthday present or something to mark a special occasion, then gift vouchers can be purchased for either lessons or golf equipment.

The pro shop is open from 08.00-17.30 in the summer and 08.00-sunset in the winter.

Academy

If you’re new, relatively new, or returning to golf after a break then the club’s Academy is the perfect way to get started.
