BBQ Saturdays – Every Saturday throughout July and August
Enjoy the summer afternoons whilst feasting on the delicious flavours of our sizzling BBQ. Everybody is welcome and don't forget to bring the family to enjoy this summer treat with amazing views across the golf course, Dorchester and Poundbury!
Men’s Open – Sunday 24 August
Our Men’s 36 Hole Pairs Open is a highlight of the late summer calendar and a great chance to test your game.
· Entry fee – non-members £90 per pair, members £50 per pair
· Morning Round: Four Ball Better Ball Stableford
· Afternoon Round: Greensomes Stableford
· 2 rounds of 18 holes
· Sandwiches and crisps
· Prizes

Ladies Weekend 4BBB Open – 20th September
Our Ladies Weekend 4BBB Open is a great chance to experience our course whilst playing alongside some incredible golfers from across the county and beyond.
· Entry fee - £80 per pair
· Booked in pairs
· Includes tea/coffee on arrival
· Includes meal and prizes
· Book your preferred tee time online
· Handicap limit 40, 85% handicap allowance
Wind Down in Our Clubhouse
After your game or before heading out to explore, relax in our friendly and spacious clubhouse. Enjoy a hot meal, grab a drink or soak up the sunshine and breathtaking panoramic views on our terrace. Looking to make a weekend of it? There’s a packed line-up of fantastic events taking place throughout the month, all within easy reach of the golf course.
Jurassic Fields Festival – Bridport, 8-10 August
Set against the stunning backdrop of West Dorset, Jurassic Fields has a fantastic line-up to include Reef, The Hoosiers and Toploader, as well as local talent and tributes. With camping, food stalls and kids’ activities, it’ll be a fantastic day (or weekend) out.
Poole Harbour Festival – 25–27 July
Held at Baiter Park on Poole’s scenic waterfront, this three-day festival features tribute bands, DJs, fun fair rides and street food. Every year, the headline acts feature a few big names – this year it’s Feeder, UB40, The Hoosiers and Vengaboys. A must-visit for music lovers and families alike.
Swanage Carnival – 26 July-2 August
One of Dorset’s most popular family-friendly festivals, this year’s theme is ‘Cirque Du Swanage’, with over 100 events taking place across eight days. As well as a spectacular carnival procession, enjoy live music, fireworks, air displays, sport events and an array of food and drink stalls.
Camp Bestival – Lulworth Castle, 31 July–3 August
Kicking off on the final day of July, Camp Bestival is a fun-filled family festival with music, comedy, arts, crafts and circus acts. Set in the beautiful grounds of Lulworth Castle, it’s a great way to round off a month of summer celebrations.
Portland Rocks Festival – 29–31 August
New for this year, Portland Rocks is a three-day celebration of local music talent, food and community, featuring a diverse main stage, a nostalgia stage, on-site camping, mini golf, axe‑throwing, circus workshops, fun fair, magicians and more.

For thrill-seekers, Dorset’s surf spots near Bournemouth and Swanage offer excellent waves during the summer months.
